With quarantine and work from home life being the new norm, my Youtube and Netflix consumption has definitely gone up. Because I am one of those people who don’t like working in complete silence, the second screen at my desk is pretty much always playing something. During the past couple of months, I’ve discovered quite a few binge-worthy Youtube channels that keep me going throughout the day. Some are old favorites that I’ve been subscribed to for a while, while some are completely new discoveries. I’d thought it would be worthwhile to share because I always find it a bit difficult to find good channels when there’s just SO many nowadays. This list covers a variety of channels with focuses in fashion, beauty, home decor, food, etc. so there’s a little bit of something for everyone.

In no particular order…

Topics: Vlogging, Lifestyle, Home Decor, Fashion, Beauty

I discovered Julia and Hunter after looking up ‘Restoration Hardware dupes’ on Youtube. I was trying to get home decor inspiration after moving into my new apartment and a video of theirs was one of the first to pop up. After watching a few of their videos, I was hooked! Not only do they own a beautifully decorated home, but they also have a great dynamic as a couple. I particularly love their vlogs. Julia also shares beauty and fashion tips. Her style is edgier than my own but I have gotten some great ideas nonetheless. Overall, their videos just really inspire me, and I’ve done many binge sessions of their video.

Topics: Home Decor, Fashion

For all the Restoration Hardware lovers, Arvin was another find via my home inspo searches. An expert at scouring Home Goods for high-quality items for a deal, he will teach you how to make your space look and feel expensive (without the RH price tag). He also teaches you what to avoid to make sure you aren’t wasting that hard-earned cash. He doesn’t have too many videos just yet, but his channel is growing quickly and content is coming out more frequently. If you follow him on IG, he posts decor sales and good finds in real-time.

Topics: Fashion, Designer Handbags, Home Decor, Lifestyle

Alyssa is one of my all-time favorite content creators. She started out on Tumblr years ago, which I also followed, and has really grown since then. I love her overall style, and it has in many ways inspired me in my everyday life. She’s all about the neutrals in every aspect, and anyone who knows me in real life knows that I love a good neutral color palette. Her channel began with mostly videos on designer handbags (incredibly informative might I add) and travel vlogs, but now also includes lifestyle vlogs and home decor since she recently purchased her first home.

Topics: Cafe Vlogs, ASMR

I think we’ve all watched a mukbang or an ASMR video before, but have you watched a cafe vlog that showcases the life of a barista during their shift? I certainly hadn’t before quarantine, but somehow, I managed to binge-watch more of these vlogs than any others. Zoe is my favorite, and by far, one of the most popular with 1.47M subscribers. She works at a franchised “Bless Roll” cafe owned by her mother in South Korea, and you get to see her make all the beautiful drinks, seal them in their special can machine, wrap pastries, and cut cake. So simple, and somehow so soothing with the sound and aesthetics making them perfect to play in the background when you’re not in the mood for music. There are quite a few others I watch within the same genre, so if you want to get some more recommendations in this category, leave a comment below!

Topics: Tech, Desk Setup Makeovers

As opposed to all the others that I’ve recommended so far, Justin is different in that he does videos on tech, gadgets, and desk setup makeovers. With the new work from home lifestyle, I decided to invest in a new desk. As a result, I wanted to make my desk area look cool while still being functional. Somehow, after a few searches and clicks on “related videos,” I ended up on Justin’s channel. From there, I pretty much binge-watched all his desk setups and started going through some of his tech videos as well. I’m a low key tech fan so while I may not always spend a ton on gadgets, I love learning about them. If you want to level up your work area at home, I recommend checking him out. His desk setup makeovers are pretty minimal, but they look and feel good. I like that they are makeovers of other people’s desks so you can really see the transformation from zero to hero.

7. [underline]DIY with KB (Kiva Brent)[/underline]

Topics: Home Decor, Interior Design, DIYs

If you are crafty and love home decor, Kiva’s channel is for you. Her style is very Restoration Hardware-esque, but she also combines pieces from Home Goods, Pottery Barn, West Elm, IKEA, At Home, Target, etc. What makes her so great is that she not only finds dupes and deals for the RH look, but she is also good at thinking outside the box to DIY pieces you would never think of DIY-ing. In her recent videos, she made her own sherpa chairs and a dupe of the popular RH Russian Oak Plinth Coffee Table. She is constantly changing her space so the content is endless.

8. [underline]Antonnette[/underline]

Topics: Lifestyle, Beauty, Fashion, Home Decor

I don’t remember quite how I found Antonnette, but I started watching and just binged my way through her channel of videos. I particularly enjoy her vlogs (if you all haven’t noticed a trend already), which incorporates bits and pieces of beauty, fashion, and home decor. She also recently moved from NY to LA during this pandemic time period, and though I didn’t move cross country, it still resonated with my own recent move into the city. Overall, her videos are one of my favorite relaxing type vlogs, and I appreciate her aesthetics.

9. [underline]The Graham Stephan Show[/underline]

Topics: Finances, Real Estate

Last but not least, Graham Stephan. Who is he you may ask? Well, if any of you watched Selling Sunset from Netflix, he actually appears in the background once in a while because he is actually part of the Oppenheim Group. There are more people part of the group than those who appear on the show, and I found his channel by chance while doing some random research. His channel is best known for his Millionaire Reacts series where he reacts to spending videos and extravagant house tours. In addition, he offers financial and real estate advice, which I think you can never learn enough about in this day and age. As a millionaire, he is humble and does not believe in spending $5 for coffee, and for some reason, that just makes me want to listen to him more. Definitely binge-worthy and a lot of knowledge to be acquired from his channel.

That’s all for now! Hope you discovered some new Youtube channels to add to your subscriptions. There’s still so many more out there, so leave a comment and let me know if there’s someone you think I should check out!
